What is the financial goal of the BiG Children’s Foundation BiG Cardio?
This year’s goal is $100,000. You can set your own fundraising goal and help us meet ours! No donation is too big or too small.

What is the money raised by BiG Children's Foundation BiG Cardio used for?
Proceeds sustain BCF programming and directly benefit at-risk youth in South Florida.

Can I register after on-line registration closes?

Yes. You can register at packet-pick up and walk-up on event, however there is a late fee of $10 per adult, and $5 per child.

How do I register online for the 2018 BiG Children’s Foundation BiG Cardio?
Registration for BiG Cardio is online only at You can access the form by clicking the "Individual," "Join a Team," or "Start A Team" button at the top right of this page. When you’ve completed registration, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to your proprietary fundraising page, and a receipt. Event fees are not tax deductible, however, donations are.

How do I form a team?
Forming a team is easy. You just need to decide a name for your team and select or step up as a captain. From, click on the “Start A Team” button located on the top right, and follow the prompts. You will select the activities that you would like to participate in first, then you will name your team on the next screen. Once you've registered your team name, you can invite others to join you. They will need to complete their own registration by following the directions above, then select “Join a Team” and search for your team name.
How do I sponsor someone else?
You can support other participants in this event! Go to and click on the green bar on the top right that says “Top Fundraisers" and you will be directed to the campaign fundraising pages where you can look for the individual or team you'd like to support.

Do I have to raise funds?
No, but we'd love it if you try. It's easier than you think, and the bigger your effort the bigger your impact. There are so many kids who need our help! If you need a little incentive, check out the gifts you could earn—and we provide you with a fundraising page, a few posts and email copy so all you have to do is copy and send/post!

How do I raise money for this event?
When you register, your fundraising web page will be created automatically, complete with suggested emails that you can send out to all your contacts asking for their support and telling them a little about BiG Children’s Foundation and the event. Your login and this link will be sent to the email address you use to register for BiG Children’s Foundation Big Cardio.

How safe is my information?
We use a system that has made every effort to protect your information and uses industry-standard SSL encryption to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet.

How can I see who has supported me, and how much I've raised?
When you registered, you would have received a link to your fundraising page, here you can access all your information. Alternatively, go to and find your individual fundraising page. You can then view your donor list and the amounts that have been donated.

I forgot my username and password. How can I find out what they are?
Remember that your username and password are case sensitive. If you can’t remember either your username and/or password, click the Forgot Username and/or Password link at the bottom of the Login page.

Why are some of my donors not showing up on the scroll mechanism?
When a donor makes a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the recognition scroll. Only those who choose to be recognized can be seen.

What if I don’t want to participate in the 5K, fitness and sports activities, but I still want to be involved?
We’re so glad you asked! You can raise funds online or volunteer to help out at the event. Just go to and sign up as a fundraiser or to volunteer. Thank you for your support!

When does online registration close and can I register on the day of the event?
Online registration closes at 11:59pm on May 2nd, 2018.

Event day registration will open at 6am on May 5th, but it will cost you $10 more for an adult, and $5 more for kidss. We’d love it if you would register early and let your friends know so that they can help you help kids by donating to support your efforts!

When do I pick up my packet, bib and chip?
You must pick up your packet because it will contain your race bib and timing chip. Pre-race Packet Pickup is on Friday, May 4, 2018 from Noon – 7pm at Broward Central Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill, Florida 33311.

Can I pick up my packet on race day?
Yes, packet pickup will be available from 6am. Make sure you arrive with enough time to return to your car with your packet and pin your bib to your clothing before the 7am start.

Do I need to train for the BiG Children’s Foundation BiG Cardio?
It is recommended that anyone participating in the BiG Children’s Foundation BiG Cardio be sufficiently fit to do so, and preferably cleared by a doctor for competition. Like all such events, you participate at your own risk and a signed waiver is required in order to register.

How long will I have to complete the BiG Children’s Foundation BiG Cardio 5K?
There no cutoff for completion, but we have allowed an hour between the start of the 5K and the awards ceremony, and support (e.g. water) will be on the course until 8:30am. We suggest that if you think you may be out longer than 90 minutes you plan to carry a water bottle and wear sun protection.

Can I do the 5K and participate in the other activities as well?
Yes! The 5K and the 60-Mile Road Ride begin at 7am and the Sports Tournaments and other activities start at 8:30am. The Cardio Class is open to everyone and there will be two cycling sessions during the morning. Fitness sessions are available on a first-come first-served basis.

I've notice that the letter "G" in BiG Cardio seems to be capitalized when mentioned in plain text, is there a significance to that?

Glad you asked. BiG means Believe in God, with whom, all things are possible.
